Arsenal is reportedly a move for Juventus’ 18-year-old wunderkind Kenan Yildiz. Mikel Arteta and Edu are keen to bring more exciting skills to their already incredibly strong squad as they chase Premier League glory.
The Gunners will be keeping an eye on the January transfer window as they look to keep their foot on the fuel after their strong start to the season, in which they are currently Liverpool’s most sensitive and Manchester City’s dominant force in recent years. .
And one player who has caught Arsenal’s eye is Juventus teenager Yildiz, an attacking midfielder who broke into the first team at the start of the 2023-24 campaign.
Yildiz only moved from Bayern Munich last summer, but Arteta and Arsenal are interested in a potential move for the teenager as early as January, according to Turkish-Football. The Gunners have reportedly been scouting the midfielder and have made enquiries over his availabilty, although a bid has yet to be submitted.
Juventus may not want to lose their talented youngster, who potentially has a great future ahead of him and has earned links with Liverpool. They are in a strong position to reject any strategy given that their current contract expires in the summer of 2027.
Arsenal and all other suitors are expected to pay more for his signing, especially considering Juve’s current monetary situation. However, they may be tempted by an imaginable swap deal.
And one player who could step down from his spot at the Emirates could be Thomas Partey. The Ghanaian midfielder has suffered injuries recently and cannot be relied upon to stay fit, especially at a time when Arsenal are aiming for the Premier League title.

His injury history will be one of the main frustrations for Arteta, and the Arsenal manager could be tempted to let him go, that is, as part of a transfer deal for Yildiz to cross the line, as Partey himself has been linked with a move to Juventus in recent months.
And with Partey getting no younger, it could represent a good bit of business in the long run if they managed to snap up Yildiz in the January transfer market.
