Arsenal line up for Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai, claims agent

The Hungarian medium Index states that RB Salzburg’s 20-year-old star is being seriously regarded by Mikel Arteta as a target in January.

Arsenal were connected to a be offer by central midfielder Szoboszlai this summer.

But the Hungarian foreigner has pledged his allegiance to Salzburg after helping the Austrians succeed in the Champions League.

Chelsea were connected to Szoboszlai, who is reportedly valued at 26 million pounds.

And last month’s reports stated that Arsenal were in a position to resurrect their interest after lacking the Houssem Aouar of Lyon.

Szoboszlai’s agent Matyas Esterhazy is now said to have shown Arsenal’s interest in “the corridor” of a round table in the Hungarian edition of Forbes magazine.

After being asked about Szoboszlai’s situation, Esterhazy replied: “Arsenal’s interest is real. “

It also reportedly questioned the interest of AC Milan, which twice did not point to Szoboszlai.

However, Esterhazy reportedly added that his consumer liked to stay in the “German-speaking world”, referring to a movement imaginable to Salzburg’s affiliate club, RB Leipzig.
