Coventry has shown the signing of midfielder Ben Sheaf on loan from Arsenal for one season.
The 22-year-old made his Gunners debut in his Europa League win at Red Star Belgrade in October 2017, with an expired replacement.
Sheaf also left the bench following the league Cup house’s victory over West Ham two months later, before being loaned on loan to Stevenage and Doncaster.
The deal includes the Sky Blues permanently pointing to Sheaf at the end of the season.
Coach Mark Robins said on the club’s official website: “He is a player with a wonderful pedigree and wonderful skills, who will move up to our team for the next league season.”
“He has a physical presence and a football brain too and will be a genuine asset to us.”
