Arsenal have decided on their team for the 2024/25 Premier League season.
Mikel Arteta’s men are already occupied. They got the permanent signing of Spanish goalkeeper David Raya for the first time after his loan last summer.
The Gunners also replaced Euro 2024 star Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna. Arsenal must avoid it there, with a midfielder and a striker among their targets for the rest of the window.

While PSG and Chelsea appear to be among the favorites to make a move for Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, it appears Arsenal are not yet in a position to admit defeat. According to Corriere dello Sport, the Gunners are still monitoring him.
It seems that the Nigerian is a long-term target, but there is still a lot of work to be done. Osimhen’s preference for any move will be considered, while a higher festival complicates matters further. Chelsea are reportedly looking to close a transfer deal involving Romelu Lukaku.
PSG are also interested, but the deal is too expensive at the moment. Osimhen, 25, has two years left on his contract with the current Napoli.
Arsenal are close to agreeing a deal for Real Sociedad’s Mikel Merino. Mirror Football understands an agreement has been reached on terms ahead of a move to the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal have submitted a verbal offer worth £25m plus bonuses for the midfielder. His current club, Sociedad, are in a position to sanction a sale after seeing a new contract offered in a rejected position through Merino.
Any deal would allow Arsenal to achieve a significant coup given the festival they face for his services. Atlético de Madrid and Barcelona were already eyeing him.

Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard has broken his silence on the Gunners’ signing of Riccardo Calafiori. Speaking about the team’s pre-season trip to the United States, the Norwegian playmaker told Metro: “I think everyone saw directly in the education that he was a player and a high-level defender, physically.
“He has a presence on the pitch and I’m sure he will bring us a lot. We are pleased to have him with us and look forward to learning more about him.
Calafiori is likely to make his Arsenal debut next week when the Gunners take on reigning Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen in north London.
