Arsenal releases 14 million pound forgotten signing update

You can forgive Arsenal enthusiasts if they had completely forgotten about Pablo Mari.

That’s because the Spanish midfielder has controlled 24 minutes of football with Mikel Arteta since March.

Mari was one of the first casualties in Manchester City’s beating against Arsenal in the first Project Restart game in June and an injury has prevented him from playing since.

The Gunners then paid 14 million pounds to permanently point to the 27-year-old, after he first loaned to Flamengo in January.

And the north London club has revealed some developments on Mari’s front.

Arsenal posted an update on his injury on their official online page on Saturday and said the big man is only 10 days away from resuming full training.

And the faster Mari comes back, the better.

Arsenal’s center stage is not as healthy as before the start of the season.

And with Shkodran Mustafi rusting away after his long absence, that leaves Gabriel and David Luiz as Arteta’s characteristics right now.
