An English media report on Sunday linked Arsenal to Sevilla Diego Carlos.
Carlos, 27, arrived in Seville last summer from the French national team in Nantes.
Seville is said to have paid about 13.5 million pounds for cork, which has since proved to be a deal.
The Brazilian has competed in 35 of the 38 outings of the Spanish 2019/20 Spanish League, scoring two goals along the way.

However, Arsenal enthusiasts should not wait too long when it comes to Carlos’ touchdown.
It has been transparent for some time that Arsenal has been quite affected by the Covid-19 crisis, so it will spend a lot of reinforcements this summer.
So, as far as Carlos is concerned, will the Gunners really be able to do it?
The aforementioned Report of the Transfer Window podcast did recommend that Sevilla be in a better position to negotiate after securing football in the Champions League.
However, the Sunday Telegraph’s report states that the defender has a 68 million pound clause.
It is added that Seville can also settle for less than Carlos, but not much less, with a sum of about 54 million pounds announced. The Telegraph concludes that such a payment would possibly be too high for the Gunners.
It should also be noted that Carlos is under contract in Seville until 2024, which puts the Spanish aspect in a strong position in the negotiations.
