Arsenal would be forced to pay an “extra £50m” if they need Benjamin Sesko now is compared to the summer, when RB Leipzig will be forced to let him pass up much cheaper.
Arsenal have a number of strikers on their roster at the moment through appearance. The reports connected them with Sesko, Mathys Tel, and Ollie Watkins.
Tel has turned down Tottenham in favour of staying with Bayern Munich, Manchester United and Aston Villa remain “solid rock options” for him, and Villa need to remain at Watkins after the sale of Jhon Duran.
Sesko has been a long-term target, so radar is unlikely to be radar, however, there is a catch in the pursuit of him, which is well worth it.
In fact, the independent states, if sold now, RB Leipzig’s Champions League follow-up, are fifth in the Bundesliga, meaning Arsenal would have to pay “another £50m” to make it now the summer.
At this point, it looks like Sesko would charge just £60m. Reports have him at this price, as well as the suggestion that he has struck a gentleman’s deal with Leipzig to leave in the summer, having selected for last summer.
It’s no surprise that the Bundesliga outfit adds to the value of a guy who can obviously towards them towards their goals, he’s already scored 8 goals and helped two more in 18 league games in this term.
Only seven players have surpassed Sesko in the Bundesliga this season, and he is in the corporation of players from the groups Leipzig would like to succeed over in order to check Champions League football.
That said, if Arsenal land a star striker this winter, it’s Sesko, and with the characteristics dropping the table, it’s unclear who he can get.
