Arsenal still need to point to Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey, while Matteo Guendouzi is close to joining Hertha Berlin on a one-season loan agreement in what has a busy deadline day for the Gunners.
Bayer Leverkusen remains in talks about the signing of Arsenal defender Sead Kolasinac, with the Bundesliga club prefering a transfer agreement with a buy bail option, while Lucas Torreira is close to signing on loan from Atletico Madrid and receiving his doctor in Spanish.
Arsenal are also listening to donations from defenseman Sokratis Papastathopoulos, but has not yet obtained any donations to midfielder Mesut Ozil, and technician Mikel Arteta recently expressed doubts about the future of German.
Partey has been connected to Arsenal through the window and, although their forty-five million pound release clause has been a problem, the Gunners expect to lose wages and area on the team before the window closes at 11 p. m.
Arteta said over the weekend that Arsenal were doing everything they could to finalize transfers before the deadline and was sure agreements could be reached.
The Gunners are also still interested in Chelsea midfielder Jorginho, as the idea that an Italian foreign deal is unlikely, but offside.

Reports in France before this summer stated that Guendouzi had said he would be willing to leave Arsenal at a disciplinary assembly at the club after the Brighton incident, Arteta then downplayed speculation.
Guendouzi, who joined the Lorient Gunners in 2018, has a contract at Emirates Stadium until 2022.
The midfielder has played 82 times for the club in all competitions, marking once and giving assists since his debut in August 2018.
