The two clubs have spent the last few days in talks with the Premier League and islington Council to succeed in a decision.
After those discussions, all the matches besides the goals, other points would have made the fit too complicated for enthusiasts to attend Emirates Stadium.
“The number one fear has at all times been the duty to look out for the enthusiasts on both sides and everyone else who planned to attend the attack on Boxing Day,” reads the official West Ham website.
“In addition to the proposed claim on the London Underground on 26 December, there are incredibly limited operations in the exercise of National Rail to London that day. In addition, general parking restrictions still apply near the stadium.
“This would have caused serious disruption or, in the worst case, the inability of the fans or match day to reach the Emirates Stadium. “
“We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused fans, but we have taken the right resolution. “
The setting will now be played on Wednesday January 23rd or the following Saturday.
