The Englishman left Tottenham, a club he had been with for 4 years, thanks to a very bad season.
Trippier, one of England’s most productive players at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
The crusade that followed, however, saw Trippier make a series of sad introductions for the Spurs.
However, since moving to La Liga, Trippier has returned to his previous form and regained a position in Gareth Southgate’s England team after being eliminated in the summer of 2019.
In total, Trippier has made 33 appearances in all competitions for Atlético, in which he attends five.

Trippier now only has a two-year contract at Wanda Metropolitano.
And he seems to be in favour of Spain, an aspect of the Premier League that now contemplates a rather ambitious play for the stopper.
The club is Aston Villa, who only survived relegation by one point last time.
But, according to a Telegraph report:
Aston Villa has England winger Kieran Trippier on their radar as Dean Smith to bolster their defense.
Dean Smith is believed to have made Trippier his number one target this summer, with the Telegraph calling the move ambitious.
Possible fees are not discussed in the article, however Atletico paid around £ 20m in the first place to sign the former Spurs player, so given that he is still a regular at Madrid it’s hard to believe that move profitably this summer.
Trippier has spoken about the possibility of returning to the Premier League this year, but that discussion has surrounded his preference for retiring to Burnley.
