Aston Villa has reportedly prepared an offer of 16 million pounds for Josh King of Bournemouth with an agreement for Ollie Watkins’ final deal.

In weeks, interest in Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson has intensified.

The two clubs compete for sicario Aston Villa and Newcastle.

He even claimed last Tuesday that the two Premier League groups were in talks with the Cherries about Wilson:

Newcastle and Villa are in talks with Bournemouth over striker Callum Wilson. Newcastle is looking for a deal that would come with the Matt Ritchie winger in the other direction. Aston Villa is also looking to buy Wilson, but his deal would involve an exchange of players #NUFC

However, Dean Smith and company have since English, Newcastle announced Wilson’s signing on Monday:

He #NUFC extremely happy to announce Callum Wilson’s signing of @afcbournemouth on a four-year contract!

Welcome, Callum!

The need for attack reinforcements in Villa Park remains transparent to everyone, however, it turns out that Dean Smith’s team has wasted little time moving towards new targets.

One of the goals is reportedly Joshua King, Wilson’s teammate in Bournemouth.

The flexible Norwegian, like the rest of the Bournemouth team, did not enjoy a 2019/20.

But he still controlled six respectable goals and four assists in 26 league games, and would certainly help Villa’s comfortable attack.

In turn, on Tuesday, the Telegraph reported that Claret and Blue were “making” an offering of 16 million pounds for King.

King is expected to receive a payment in this area, having entered the last year of his contract.

Brentford’s Ollie Watkins is also considered a priority target for Villa, who is reportedly ahead of picking up two more strikers this summer.

And, as reported this afternoon, there is now an agreement for Brentford’s hitman.

Villa is expected to pay a down payment of 28 million pounds for Watkins, this sum may eventually succeed at 33 million pounds:

Aston Villa is preparing to negotiate for Brentford striker Ollie Watkins. Payment is an initial amount of 28 million pounds, which can reach 33 million pounds with add-ons.
