Aston Villa has finished his move for Borussia Dortmund’s Netherlands, Donyell Malen.
The 25-year-old singer, who had 18 months left on his contract at Dortmund, joined an undisclosed fee, which was in the region of £21 million, Villa did not disclose the main points on how long his deal would last.
One on the club’s official online page read: “Aston Villa is extremely happy to announce the signing of Donyell Malen in the Dutch overseas Borussia Dortmund.
“The 25-year-old striker, who has more than a hundred career club goals, joins the German giants for an undisclosed fee.
“Malen helped Dortmund succeed in the Champions League Ultimate last season and scored thirteen goals in the Bundesliga.
“With targets in 41 foreign appearances, Malen is a key player for the Netherlands and represented his country at UEFA Euro 2024.
“He came here to PSV Eindhoven and got 40 goals in 80 appearances before signing for Dortmund.
“Welcome, Donyell!”
Malen joined Ajax’s Arsenal Academy in 2015 but made it home to PSV in 2017 by making an appearance for the Gunners.
