Astonishing statistic: Juventus worst Serie A attack in six weeks

An Italian media report claims that Juventus have scored fewer goals than any other Serie A team in the past month.

Yesterday, the Bianconeri had to settle for a goalless draw against Milan Mike Maignan, Davide Calabria, Theo Hernandez and Fikayo Tomori in defence.

Max Allegri’s men dominated the action and had several chances to score, but failed to put the ball in the back of the net as substitute goalkeeper Marco Sportiello generated functionality between the posts.

The stalemate has ended Juve’s losing streak that dates back to the end of January. However, the club’s functionality deteriorated in March and April, as IlBianconero explains, especially from an offensive point of view.

For example, Juventus have failed to score in 4 of their last six Serie A matches. He has managed to score 3 goals in that run, two of them from set pieces (Federico Gatti’s corner against Fiorentina and Dusan Vlahovic’s free kick against Cagliari). plus a goal of his own (Alberto Dossena).

Remarkably, the last time Juventus scored in open play was in a 1-1 draw with Atalanta on March 10.

Statistically speaking, the Bianconeri have lately had the worst attack in Serie A in the last month and a half. Even relegated Salernitana managed to overtake Juventus in this period.

These frightening statistics won’t go unnoticed as Juventus’ management begins to make plans for next season, starting with the coaching staff.
