Atalanta have reportedly reached an agreement with Flamengo to buy Wesley for €16m plus an additional €4m and a sale fee.
The right back is 21 months old and is a product of the Brazilian club’s youth system.
According to rumours in Brazil and Italy, Sportitalia has reached an agreement to send him to Bergamo.
The cost of the operation will amount to 16 million euros payable in 3 installments, to which will be added another four million euros and a 10% bonus on the resale price if it exceeds forty-five million euros.
The first instalment worth €6 million will be paid within five days of signing the contract, €4 million until October 2024 and the last €6 million until August 2026.
Performance bonuses are also easy to obtain, adding €1 million for your 20th appearance, €1 million for Europa League qualification and another €1 million for success in the knockout stages.
Wesley may not fly until next weekend, as as part of the deal, Flamengo was allowed to retain him for their next two games against Botafogo and Bolivar.
