LONDON (AP) – The tottenham Gareth Bale winger has been out for “a few weeks” due to a calf injury.
Wales’ foreigner suffered the challenge when he won the league cup quarter-finals last week at Stoke and Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho said Tuesday that he would be on the sidelines.
Brazilian duo Carlos Vinicius and Lucas Moura are expected to miss Wednesday’s match against Fulham.
“I don’t expect (Bale) to have compatibility and I also doubt that Lucas and Vinicius can be compatible with the Fulham,” Mourinho said. “I wouldn’t say it’s serious yet, I’d say a few weeks (by Bala). “
The lack of offensive features will increase Mourinho’s dependence on striker Harry Kane in a busy period.
