Barcelona confirms start

On Wednesday morning, Catalan giants announced that Semedo had been sold to the Wolves for an amount that could reach 40 million euros (790 million rand).

“FC Barcelona and Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club have reached an agreement for the move of player Nélson Semedo. The English club will pay 30 million euros plus 10 more in variables,” Barca confirmed on its website.

Semedo turned 122 in his three-year tenure at Camp Nou, winning two League titles, a Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup.

Tenth season start of the 26-year-old blue-blue side, behind Arthur, Ivan Rakitic, Arturo Vidal and Arda Turan.
