The City has told the Catalan giants, who have still made an official offer, to value the 23-year-old Spaniard at 30 million euros (26.5 million pounds).
Angelino, who joined City from PSV Eindhoven last summer, was inspired by the moment of the 2019-20 season on loan from Champions League semi-finalists RB Leipzig.
The German club, which had to withdraw to make the deal permanent, was also informed of the player’s assessment by City.

Barcelona has been connected with several players, as they can go through a review of the team following ronald Koeman’s appointment as coach this week.
Angelino joined City as an academy player and was loaned to New York, Girona, Real Mallorca and NAC Breda before moving to PSV permanently in 2018.
After a successful year in Eindhoven, he bought through The City, worth a reduced value of 5.3 million pounds, to compete for a first-team spot at Etihad Stadium.
He made 12 appearances before being allowed to sign for Leipzig on loan for the remainder of the crusade in January.
