According to the Spanish publication Marca, Barcelona’s hopes of signing Lautaro Martínez before the deadline for the move are over after the Catalan team submitted an unacceptable offer for the star of Inter Milan.
Marca reports that Barcelona have been preparing an offer for the forward for some time, freeing up a budget thanks to the departures of Nelson Semedo, Ivan Rakitic, Arturo Vidal and his predecessor Luis Suárez.
It is alleged that Barcelona submitted a shocking initial payment offer of only 15 million euros to the agents of Lautaro, Beto Yaque and Roly Zarate, Barcelona then sought to talk about the incorporations at a later stage.
To contextualize how disrespectful the be offer was, Marca reported last week that Inter strongly adhered to the 23-year-old’s 90 million euro valuation.

Martínez reached Inter in the summer of 2018 from racing’s years-long club, the ace controlled to score 30 goals and provide 8 assists in 84 outings for the Serie A team.
Lautaro’s skills may be ideal for Barcelona, the striker has shown that he is tough in the face of purpose and, more importantly, is a team player, as he played magnificently alongside Romelu Lukaku.
