Barcelona leader confirms Koeman’s appointment, upgrades Messi and names 7 players ‘not for sale’

Barcelona President Josep Maria Bartomeu updates tonight on the control stage and players at the club.

The Spanish giants of Barca, of course, have noticed that their European crusade ended last week.

As the case has shown on many occasions in recent years, with their back firmly glued to the wall, instead of getting up, the Blaugrana have just collapsed the Champions League quarter-finals with Bayern Munich.

A frankly embarrassing demonstration of the component of the Catalan force yet put them to sword through 8 points to 2.

Thomas Muller (2), Ivan Perisic, Serge Gnabry, Joshua Kimmich and Robert Lewandowski were on the right track, before a vanquished double from bluegrate lender Philippe Coutinho firmly exacerbated the la Liga team’s misery.

The humiliating nature of Barcelona’s exit from the Champions League, meanwhile, has since noticed an unbridled hypothesis about the long history of a number of key names at the club.

Quique Setien has already been fired, with a series of outlandish reports also suggesting that the blaugrana talisman Lionel Messi can continue to live up to it.

As we discussed earlier, however, Josep Maria Bartomeu, president of the culés, tonight to explain the scenario of the technician and the team at the Camp Nou, before the 2020/21 campaign.

First, Bartomeu proved that former Bluegrasser Ronald Koeman had been selected as the club’s new boss:

Then the blaugrana chief drew on the long career of captain and star Lionel Messi, and Bartomeu temporarily trusted that the Argentine had no objective of moving forward:

Josep Bartomeu, president of Barcelona: “Messi to finish his career in Barca. I communicate to him and his father as normal. It’s part of our project. Koeman will be the new coach and told me that Messi is key player to our new project.” ?? #FCB #Barcelone

Finally, and perhaps more specifically, an update on the Barcelona gaming team as a whole.

This follows statements from the Spanish media over the weekend, which reported that the five members of Koeman’s team were still available for transfer.

Bartomeu, however, has designated 7 players, adding the attacking trio Messi, Ousmane Dembele and Antoine Griezmann, who are “not for sale”:

President Azulgrana ruled out the option of opening talks with Man United to Ousmane Démbélé: “He’ll stay. Messi, Ter Stegen, Lenglet, Semedo, De Jong, Griezmann and Démbélé are for sale.”

Bartomeu also added that “Coutinho can stay here, if Koeman does.” ?? #transferencias
