Barcelona prepares for Gini Wijnaldum’s move to lose Liverpool to Thiago’s £ 27m

Barcelona is close to making an official technique for Gini Wijnaldum, which would pave the way for Liverpool to point to Bayern Munich’s Thiago Alcántara, according to new reports.Anfield is still a key player under Jurgen Klopp.

The Reds rarely allow players to enter the last 12 months of their contract with the Wijnaldum stage, which is even more unexpected given that he played 47 times last season, contributing six goals.

No central midfielder made more appearances last season than the flexible Dutchman, who has been at Liverpool since 2016 after joining Newcastle.

The 29-year-old has made nearly two hundred appearances with Merseyside during this period, winning the Champions League and Premier League.

But with uncertainty about their long-term future, Wijnaldum and Liverpool are agitated to see him walk out the door this summer, Barca is in a position to dive according to the Daily Star.

Former Everton coach Ronald Koeman recently took over at Camp Nou after leading Wijnaldum at one point as coach of the Dutch national team.

And Koeman needs to put him with Frankie de Jong at a new Barca midfielder, even though he also liked Donny van de Beek before joining Manchester United from Ajax on Wednesday in a 40 million pound deal.

The Star says the new barca boss needs the club’s board to sign Wijnaldum without delay, instead of waiting for his contract to expire in 2021, although they can then hire him for nothing.

And if an agreement is reached by the former PSV ace, who can play as number 10, number 8 or even as a defensive midfielder, Liverpool would like to.

Signed for 25 million pounds 4 years ago, it was in Spain that Barca would be willing to pay up to 18 million pounds for Wijnaldum in the coming weeks.

Such a budget would give Liverpool the opportunity to make his first genuine move for Bayern munich midfielder Thiago, who, like Wijnaldum, sees his contract expire next summer.

Klopp will have to sell players before he can make a move for Thiago despite the minimum expenses this summer, paying 12 million pounds for Kostas Tsimikas, offset by the 10.9 million pounds raised with the sale of Dejan Lovren to Zenit St. Petersburg.

Thiago, 29, has spent seven years loaded with trophies in Bavaria and is eager to take on a new challenge amid ties to the Premier League, with Manchester United, the contender mentioned.

The former Barcelona midfielder helped Bayern win the Champions League last season and has won seven consecutive Bundesliga titles.

Because of his quality, Bayern will let him through profitably and would like around 27 million pounds (30 million euros) to let the Spaniard through this summer.

RMCTV journalist Mohamed Bouhafsi said of Thiago on Wednesday: “His selection is Liverpool.Klopp and #Alcantara have already spoken.

“Alcántara is ready to arrive in England.Problem: Bayern know it and discussions with Liverpool are long.”

While movement expert Fabrizio Romano also tweeted: “Liverpool are still running to get Thiago Alcantara.Bayern are now sure that they will soon get a new offer from #LFC.

“Klopp is putting pressure on Thiago.Manchester United have only had contact with his agent, so nothing has progressed between the clubs.Liverpool Thiago.

The claims come after Bayern manager Hansi Flick presented an update on Thiago’s long career this week.

“I think he’s going to leave,” Flick said.

“We haven’t had a verbal exchange now, however, I think your resolution has been taken.”

If Wijnaldum leaves, Liverpool expect to settle their long run and thiago ahead of their first Premier League match against Leeds United on Saturday 12 September (start at 5.30am).
