Ismael’s move to Linz made the club successful in the last 32 Europa League games last season when they lost to Manchester United.
LASK ruled an organization that added Sporting Lisbon and PSV Eindhoven before defeating AZ Alkmaar to tie with United.
The former centre – who worked with Barnsley striker Dominik Frieser during his time in Austria – also arrived in the German Bundesliga with Wolfsburg in 2016-17 and is known for his urgent taste for the game.

Ismael takes over a team he hasn’t won in six league games so far this season, with the Reds taking only 3 numbers out of 18 imaginable.
After his first home game opposed to the QPR, Barnsley, lately only outside the relegation zone for difference of purpose, entertained Watford at Oakwell next Saturday before traveling to Cardiff City and Derby County before the next foreign break.
