Bayer Leverkusen 1-1 RB Leipzig: Kerim Derimbay and Emil Forsberg shout in a careful draw

Kerim Derimbay and Emil Forsberg scored screams when RB Lepizig and Bayer Leverkusen shared the loot in their Bundesliga clash on Saturday.

In front of 6,000 Leverkusen fans at the BayArena, Emil Forsberg smashed the ball off the edge of the crossbar to give Leipzig a 14-minute lead, but Derimbay’s draw six minutes later was even more spectacular.

The German striker made an internal cut on the left foot and made a very good effort against Peter Gulacsi on purpose from 30 meters.

At one cautious time, Leverkusen, ahead of Patrick Schick, had the ball on the scoreboard with 12 minutes to go, but the line judge put his pennant out of the game.

It is the first time Leipzig have lost trouble this season, having beaten Mainz 3–1 on the first day of the season, while Leverkusen is still not winning this season.

More to come.
