Olympique Lyonnais started the UEFA Champions League semi-final against Bayern Munich on Wednesday in the hope of qualifying for the final, of course. But the French look also expected to be hampered by the German club that destroyed the tournament.
And while not necessarily embarrassing their semi-final opponent, Bayern controlled Lyon relatively easily in the 3-0 win on Wednesday. Bayern are in the final league, where paris Saint-Germain will face off on Sunday.
After winning all their Champions League organisation level matches, Bayern erased Chelsea in the 16th circular and then Barcelona in the quarter-finals to achieve their 12th appearance in the semi-finals. The win against Lyon gave the club 10 consecutive Champions League victories and put him in a draw for the longest streak of his kind with Bayern 2013-14 and Real Madrid in 2014-15.

CBS now owns exclusive English rights to the Champions League in the United States, however, Wednesday’s semi-final match will not be broadcast live on television (except on Univision, which remains the Spanish home of the Champions League games in the United States). CBS has resumed rights to the U.S. Champions League games ahead of schedule after Turner Sports rescinded its agreement in June.
All Champions League matches, including Bayern vs Lyon, will be held live on CBS All Access, the network’s online streaming service. The Champions League final will be broadcast on television via CBS Sports Network.

The coronavirus stopped live sports on March 11 with 4 finals remaining on the show. UEFA has decided that the remaining circular of 16 can be played in their originally scheduled venues before the tournament heads to Lisbon, Portugal, an impartial venue for all quarter-final and semi-final matches, as well as the final.
