The brewer has officially opened its new 129,000-square-foot facility in Enfield, covering six acres of an old Ediswan plant.
The brewery said the measure will create up to 150 new jobs in the region and allow it to produce 90 million pints a year, 10 times more than its previous capacity.
Beavertown says its new site is London’s largest brewery and, with an expanded brewery, also includes a packaging plant, warehouse, logistics center and offices. In close collaboration with the aircraft manufacturer Krones, the brewery stated that the new site would increase its power and increase its capacity to 500,000 hl in line with the year, with a batch harvester of 150 hl.
The eight-year-old brewer, who is owned by Logan Plant, Robert Plant’s son of Led Zeppelin, operated a place to eat fried fish in Haggerston. He then moved to his Brewery in Tottenham Hale and has become known for his original can and brewery designs, adding Gamma Ray and Neck Oil.
In 2018, he sold a minority stake in the company to Heineken for 40 million pounds, a cash he said used to build Beaverworld. He also has a partnership with Tottenham Hotspur and has a microbrewery and a tap room at the football club’s new stadium.
Logan Plant, founder of Beavertown Brewery, said the assignment “is in progression for a long time.”
“We are very happy to have the brewing in Enfield place,” he added. “We are convinced that with Beaverworld, we have created a quality-oriented brewery with a fondness and love of craftsmanship. Beaverworld is the answer to our dream of putting more Beavertown in the hands of the masses and we couldn’t be more excited about it being. now operational.”
In July, Plant told the beverage industry that closing, online sales increased from $1000 consistent with the week to £100,000, offering a major source of revenue after the brewer lost 85% of its business when pubs, bars and restaurants closed in March.
