Liverpool turned to social media tonight in the absence of Alisson from the club’s day team to face Ajax.
Jurgen Klopp’s men are expected to resume their European later tonight.
The Reds will receive Dutch Ajax at Anfield for their penultimate Champions League-level outing.
Liverpool are heading to procedure sitting at the most sensible table in Group D as things stand, two issues ahead of their long-term warring parties and Atalanta.
However, Premier League champions will enter the crash in search of a rebound result, having noticed their recent spell brilliantly even though it all ended up in Atalanta last week.
An assembly with La Dea at Merseyside saw the hosts just beaten by 2 goals to zero, which, as things stand, Liverpool have not yet booked their place in the 16th circular of the competition.
It is also worth noting that Klopp and company followed up their European defeat with a disappointing league stalemate with Brighton this weekend.
As such, ahead of Tuesday’s kick-off, Liverpool are undoubtedly desperate to find a winning path, with a three-point run.
However, as mentioned above, the Reds’ hopes tonight have been helped by the absence of a key member of Jurgen Klopp’s team.
The one in question? Alisson.
In the initial line-up of the hosts online recently, shooter Alisson was nowhere to be found, temporarily sparking widespread panic among the Liverpool faithful.
Merseysiders themselves, however, have since acted to allay fears, confirming that the absence of their number one against Ajax came here only as a precaution, as Alisson has a tense muscle in his leg:

Jurgen Klopp has since revealed that Alisson’s challenge in his hamr tendon, so the Brazilian can miss between 10 and 14 days of action:
