A report from England on Tuesday showed practically that Ben Chilwell is on the verge of a Chelsea player this week.
Chilwell, 23, has been key in Leicester’s career for several seasons.
In total, the left-back has made 123 appearances in all competitions for the Foxes.
In the only outings, Chilwell scored 4 and provided 12 assists.
Although he has not yet reached his peak, Chilwell has also established itself as one of the left sides who has lately practiced his trade in the English game.
The eleven-time foreigner is very good at both ends of the field, and his absence from injury at the end of the season obviously affected Brendan Rodgers’ team, who finished the crusade in a bad position and withdrew from the four most sensitive in the Premier League.
But if this report in this afternoon’s English media is correct, Leicester will soon be forced to get used to betting permanently on their left-back star.

The cap has been connected to Chelsea for several months, and previous reports have come to say that Chilwell, who is recently linked to King Power until 2024, told Leicester of his preference to move to Stamford Bridge.
Chilwell’s ties to Chelsea have persisted since August, saying last week that Londoners were close to reaching an agreement with Leicester.
And now, as mentioned above, Chelsea’s quest for the Foxes star is coming to an end.
According to a Telegraph on Tuesday:
Chilwell, the england and Leicester defender, will complete his way to Stamford Bridge in the next 3 days.
The Telegraph adds that the Blues will be forced to pay a payment of about 50 million pounds to land in Chilwell, with more installments and add-ons.
Details of Chilwell’s outstanding contract at Stamford Bridge have also been revealed, with the fact that the side will put the pen on paper in a five-year contract worth around ‘190,000 euros a week’.
