Ben Davies could be available for Tottenham Hotspur against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday after returning to first-team training.
Davies suffered a hamstring injury in the second half of Spurs’ 1-0 loss to Bournemouth on Dec. 5. This means that Ange Postecoglou has had to go without three central defenders in recent weeks, and Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero also suffered injuries.

Archie Gray, who prefers to play in the midfield or the right side, has started the last 4 games in all competitions in the center of the center with Radu Dragusin. The values’ relieve the tension in Gray and Dragusin to start each game this agitated festive period.
Postecoglou’s side have won just two of their last six Premier League games and since the beginning of December have bottomed out in goals conceded (12), shots on target (85), shots on target (37), expected goals against (14) and big chances against (25). Davies’ experience can be very important in helping them in their form, but Postecoglou needs to manage his recovery conscientiously and Tottenham’s next game against Nottingham Forest on December 26 is unlikely to occur.
“I simply cannot threaten more injuries, so my intestine tells me that there are only two sessions (exercising) that are left with the team before boxing day, so probably wisest to save it during the weekend,” said Postecoglou . “But but he but he but he but he but he but he but he but he but he but he but he but he but he but the day of boxing. The plan is to exercise and potentially be available “.
Davies enters the last six months of his contract with the Spurs in January, but The Athletic previously reported that the club intends to offer a one -year option.
