Captain Bethany England has been named to the first EA Sports FC Women’s Team of the Year for 2023.

Bethany, a team made up of players from last year’s world championship, is one of 61 high-profile players shortlisted for the virtual team.

Our number nine, Bethany, made an instant impact on Lilywhite after completing her stint in the N17 in January 2023, from Chelsea and scored an impressive thirteen goals in 14 games in all competitions.

She finished as the club’s top scorer for the 2022/23 campaign, despite only being here for the second part of the season, and third in Barclay’s Women’s Super League, only Aston Villa’s Rachel Daly and Manchester City’s Khadija Shaw.

A number of WSL players have also been nominated alongside Bethany – including Daly, Manchester City’s Lauren Hemp, Chelsea’s Millie Bright, Guro Reiten, Sam Kerr, and Manchester United’s Mary Earps are just a few to name.

You can now vote to show your name for Bethany as she competes against players from around the world for a spot on Team of the Season.
