Bolton Wanderers verifies former Morecambe midfielder Andrew Tutte as summer signing

The Bolton Wanderers have shown the signing of midfielder Andrew Tutte.

The 29-year-old is a loose agent after being fired through Morecambe in the summer and becomes Bolton’s 16th player since Ian Evatt became boss in early July.

He signed a one-year contract at Bolton University Stadium.

He tossed his manchester city career before having loan terms such as Rochdale, Shrewsbury Town and Yeovil Town.

He moved to Spotland permanently in 20 and played 109 times for Dale, scoring goals.

He then joined rival Bury in 2014, appearing 137 times for the Shakers and locating the back 11 times.

Tutte left Gigg Lane in 2018 and moved to the Shrimps, where he spent both seasons before being released during the summer.

The new signage told the club’s website: “I am very, extremely happy to signal for such a wonderful club as this and I can’t wait to start.

“I was made known to the boys when I was educated before this summer and I get along with all of them.

“I was promoted to this league before and I know what it takes to succeed at this level. This one of the players is able to do it 100%!”

Trotters’ boss Evatt is pleased with the delight Tutte will bring with him, and the paintings are being prepared for potentially even newer recruits.

He said: “I think it’s obvious in the last few weeks that we’re a little careful about numbers. He clearly brings delight to the level, which is important.

“He has had a great education at Man City Academy and in youth training, and gives us more festivals in midfield roles.

“As I said, I think last week, we were 3 or 4 light weight.

“I still think we are still light, however, we have made it clear many times that we would possibly not be forced to pay a ransom and that we will make sure to place the right ones in the construction and check to do so. “
