Borussia Dortmund was thrown into chaos through a wild episode of Die Manflu.
Last season’s Champions League finalists are forced to leave their flat and move to the German FA headquarters in Frankfurt, which is 140 miles away.
They are expected to play in Holstein Kiel tonight, the team has been seriously weakened through illness.
On Friday evening, Dortmund were beaten 3-2 at home via Bayer Leverkusen, conceding after 25 seconds.
Players were prohibited from shaking hands with permitted fist strikes to minimize the threat of infection.
Dortmund will continue to be based in Germany’s headquarters, known as Die Mannschaft, until its own floor clears up.
Manager Nuri Sahin said of the outbreak: “Emre, Ramy, Pascal, Filippo and Alex are the ones in poor health and their hearts are fine now.
“But to be honest, we still don’t know if it will be enough.
“The children were in poor health and are on the right track, but we still have to wait and see how they tolerate the training.
“Karim has it too, and he’s a great go-to brand, Jamie is a go-to brand for the game and with Donny, we have to wait and see. “
Sahin himself struggles, saying, “Maybe you can say my voice, it broke us all a little bit.
“We are very careful in our interaction, however, this virus came here and now we have to endure it. “
Although his team is devastated by the disease, Sahin insists that his troops will surrender without a fight.
He said: “We need to achieve our goals.
“Of course, it’s a bit more difficult, but we played in Kiel to get the 3 points.
“Regardless of the situation of the workers’ body, we will play 11 opposite to 11 tomorrow, and as Borussia Dortmund we need to win the game. “
