Borussia Dortmund has separated from the main coach Nuri Sahin.
The 36-year-old man, who appointed in June 2024, left the club after a 2-1 defeat opposed to Bologna in the Champions League. The defeat left Dortmund with a single victory in his last nine games in all competitions.
Dortmund is still well located to move on to the next competition series, but at the national level, the form of the unfortunate Sahin under club.

Lars Rickn, sports director of Dortmund, said: “We very much appreciated Nuri Sahin and his paintings, we expected a long -term collaboration and until the end, we expected that we could make a sporting change together.
“After 4 consecutive losses, due to a single victory in the last nine games and there are 10 at the Bundesliga table, unfortunately we lost confidence in being able to succeed in our sports goals in the existing constellation. This resolution hurts Personally, but it is inevitable after adjustment in Bologna.
Sahin said: “Unfortunately, we fail to reach the sports ambitions of Borussia Dortmund this season. I wish this special club the best.

The defeat opposed to Bologna was the fourth successive defeat of the team in all competitions since his return from the winter holidays of German football, a race that leaves Dortmund 10 in the Bundesliga after 18 games, 20 numbers of the Bayern leaders Munichary Dortmund also left the DFB Pokal at the circular time after the defeat opposed to Wolfsburg in October.
Dortmund players were informed of their resolution in the hotel team in Italy on Tuesday night. Sahin and his staff went separately, the team returning to Germany on Wednesday.
The club celebrated an emergency assembly on Wednesday morning, where it confirmed the resolution.
A resolution on Sahin’s successor has not yet been made. Erik Ten Hag, the former director of Manchester United, has been speculated, but resources close to the Dutch summer.

Mike Tullberg, recently coach of Club 19, will take the team rate for this weekend in FAT opposed to Werder Bremen. The 39 -year -old Dane has been in the club since 2019.
Sahin named the main coach of Dortmund in June, replacing Edin Terzic, who left the club with mutual consent two weeks after his defeat opposite to Real Madrid in the final of the 2024 Champions League.
Sahin spent two spells in Dortmund as a player and deputy coach of Terzic since December 2023 before entering the role of main coach in summer.
He had left his role as coach of the Türkiye Club Super Lig Antalyaspor, his first control position, after 26 months to return to the German club.
