Shot placed at the foot of the post.
Atletico coach Diego Simeone made a triple substitution at half-time and it almost paid off when Dortmund defender Hummels lost the ball in his own net in the 49th minute, and substitute Angel Correa put the Spaniards back ahead in the 64th minute. , scoring on the second attempt.
However, the home side fought back and striker Niclas Fuellkrug made it 4-4 on aggregate with a brilliant header from Sabitzer’s cross in the 74th minute.
The home fans had slightly regained their seats after that goal, when Sabitzer gave the impression on the edge of the box, levelling the area with a first touch just before scoring the winning goal in front of an ecstatic crowd 3 minutes later.

Borussia Dortmund’s loss to Atletico last Wednesday was their first in the Champions League since losing to PSG on matchday one.
They dominated the ‘Group of Death’, scoring 11 goals against PSG, AC Milan and Newcastle, before eliminating PSV in the round of 16.
They have failed to adapt to their excellent European form at the national level.
However, that may be enough to qualify for next year’s Champions League, with England and Germany vying for an additional spot in the expanded 36-team tournament.
