Bradley Chubb missed last 12 games last season with a left ACL torn. The Broncos’ outside supporter insisted on Friday that he will play the first game of the season.
“Yes, without a doubt, I feel like I’ll be in a position to go,” Chubb said at a video convention on Friday, via Ryan O’Halloran of the Denver Post.
Chubb will place a surgically repaired splint on your knee.
He spent the off-season rehabilitating the team’s facilities and the Broncos will manage their activity camp.
“We’re going to play wisely and we’ll only check to get back to that because, so far, I haven’t done anything physical like facing an offensive lineman,” Chubb said. “I feel that with my health, it will be the next step for me, regain all the confidence in myself and I feel that when we enter the mainstream, I will be fine.”
Chubb had 12 catches in his rookie season while playing 16 games. He had a catch in four games last season.
