Groups that exchange players are rarely seen the same year they are recruited, however, that’s what happened over the weekend when the Raiders sent Lynn Bowden on the third circular and sixth selection in the circular. Dolphins for a fourth circular selection.
Bowden played as an open catcher and quarterback in Kentucky, but was looking to move on to the offensive midfielder in Las Vegas. There have been reports of considerations outside the area to go with considerations about how he is transitioning in the area, Raiders general manager Mike Mayock said that only football issues led to the redemption.
The Dolphins ranked Bowden as an open receiver in their industry announcement, however, head coach Brian Flores warned it would take some time before he could move on to the offensive.
“We did a lot of paintings in Lynn’s draft and when the exchange was an option, we did a lot more paintings,” Flores said, through the Miami Herald. “We are very happy to see you enroll in our team, to have to be very informed. He’s not going to jump and start playing. You have to be informed about how we do things. It has a lot to be informed and [takes] a little time. We’re delighted to have that. “
The Dolphins took former Marine quarterback Malcolm Perry in the seventh and moved him to the ball carrier position. So you have two flexible recruits to paint with sometime this season.
