The Robins announced the news of the move tonight in a post on their club’s official website.
Stratigakis joins Bristol City after recently betting on football in Sweden with Vittsjö GIK. He spent the 2022 and 2023 seasons with the Damallsvenskan team, playing more than 50 league games. Prior to his time in Sweden, Stratigakis played in his home Canada. After graduating from college, he played for Aurora FC before joining Oakville Blue Devils FC.
On the international stage, Stratigakis has been capped by Canada on five occasions. She has been out of the picture for her country for the past year but she will be hoping that her move to Bristol City catches the eye of national team boss Bev Priestman.
After sealing her move to Bristol City, Stratigakis said “I’m extremely excited to be here and I’m grateful for the opportunity. I can’t wait to get going.
“Ashton Gate is a stadium and I can’t wait to be in front of the Bristol City fans. “
Stratigakis becomes the signing of Bristol City head coach Lauren Smith in the January transfer window.
