Bruce Arians: Antonio Brown can play only 10 games, can play only 35 games

Buccaneers open catcher Antonio Brown is expected to be active for the first time in more than a year on Sunday night in front of the Saints, but coach Bruce Arians is sure what his role will be.

“It’s based on how the game is going,” Arians said, through the Tampa Bay Times. “If we succeed with the package in which we build it, we will probably use it more. It will have its function, and it may just be 10 pieces, it can be only 35 pieces. I wouldn’t anticipate 60 games for sure, but let’s see how it goes ».

Last year, Brown spent the off-season in Oakland unedested because his feet hurt and he didn’t like adjusting his helmet before the Raiders cut it off. He then signed with New England long enough to play a game, catch four passes for 56 yards. and a touchdown, and then be cut.

Now the Buccaneers hope Brown can be a piece of the Super Bowl puzzle. He’ll feel comfortable in the attack, but the Buccaneers will have a role for him this week.
