Bruno Onyemaechi, defender of Super Eagles, joined Olympiacos FC in Greece from Boavista in Portugal.
The Greek club announced the signing in a statement on its website on Monday.
“The 25 -year -old joins the Boavista Portuguese club, where he made 77 appearances, obtained five goals and provided 3 assists,” he said.
“This season, he has played in 18 matches, contributing three goals and one assist.”
According to local reports, Onyemaechi penned a four-year deal with the 2024 Europa Conference League champions and a transfer fee of €2.5 million.
Olympiacos assured the defender after a nearby bidding festival with Benfica and Fenerbache.
Onyemaechi joined Boavista in 2023 after a spell at Fereinse and a loan move to Vila Real in Portugal.
The defender born in Owerri made his debut for the Super Eagles of Nigeria the 6-0 defeat of Sao Tome and beginning in 2023.

Onyemaechi was the second-choice left-back behind Zaidu Sanusi.
