BT Sport and Insight TV present the competition for the goal

BT Sport and Insight TV have completed the search for talented and aspiring stars of women’s football to exercise and participate in the new definitive series of Goal.

Ultimate Goal, which will premiere on BT Sport in the UK and Insight TV International in late 2020, will capture the 31-female adventure as they compete for the chance to compete in an exclusive fit against the scouts of women’s teams around the world. The varied team includes women footballers between 18 and 28 years of age from different backgrounds. A panel of experts has reduced ratings for an open call on social media. All determined players have gone through an era of quarantine before being tested and are limited to the filming site during production.

Eniola Aluko, a former Chelsea player Juventus and Lionesses, will lead the team with Rachel Brown Finnis, BT Sport’s FOOTBALL analyst and former England national goalkeeper. Twins Rosie and Mollie Kmita, former Players of West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur, are off the mentor list.

Among the 31 women, a team of 16 will be decided through Aluko and Brown Finnis to prepare for a check-up against a more sensible women’s football team attended by scouts from professional groups around the world. Produced through Zig Zag Productions, Ultimate Goal is filmed in 4K UHD HDR on the site at St. George’s Park National Football Center in the FA.

Eniola Aluka said: “I am very happy to welcome Ultimate Goal to give players around the world a chance and a window to show off their footballing ability and potential. Women’s football is developing rapidly with so many skills available, not with avenues or a way to locate that skill. It’s wonderful to be part of an exhibition that showcases that skill in an elite football setting like St George’s Park. »
