Daichi Kamada has been introduced to Inter Milan and Roma for a loose transfer, with talks with AC Milan lately “frozen”.
This is according to Italian outlet FCInterNews, which reports that an intermediary has presented the option of signing the 26-year-old Japanese foreigner in a loose move towards the Nerazzurri and Giallorossi, while his planned move to Milan has stalled lately.
For a while, it looked like Kamada would sign for Milan in a loose transfer.
The 26-year-old’s contract with Eintracht Frankfurt has officially expired. He has been under contract with the Bundesliga club since late last month.
By all accounts, Milan had applied to single out Kamada in a loose transfer. They received a non-public agreement with the player and his representatives to sign a loose transfer.
However, it was while Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara were handling signings at the club.
According to FCIN, Kamada’s signing by the Rossoneri is “frozen” for the time being.
The reason for this is that Milan are hesitant to complete the move for now, as it would mean taking a place outside the EU in their squad for the Japan international.
That, at the moment, Kamada is without a club and loose to negotiate with any suitor.
And, FCIN reports, intermediary Beppe Bozzo has advised an imaginable move to Inter CEO Beppe Marotta.
The Nerazzurri CEO is well known for his use of loose transfers. In that sense, a resolution through Kamada may well prove to be a tempting option for the midfield.
Meanwhile, FCIN reports, Bozzo introduced Kamada to Roma. The Giallorossi are facing Inter lately for Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi.
Both clubs can turn to Kamada as an option in midfield.
