Burnley complete loan move for Chelsea’s David Datro Fofana | OneFootball

Burnley have completed the signing of Chelsea striker David Datro Fofana.

Fofana arrives on loan to the Clarets until the end of the season.

The 21-year-old returned from his initial loan spell at Union Berlin this month after struggling to adapt to life in the Bundesliga.

But Vincent Kompany’s side will be hoping the young striker fares better at Turf Moor.

Speaking to the club’s official website, Fofana said: “It feels smart to be here, I’m happy. I think it will be a good position to progress and it’s the best solution for me.

“Working with Vincent Kompany will be very good. I’ve already watched a few games and this is the right position to take the next steps.

“I’ve known Burnley for a long time, they were in the Premier League before this season and they were champions last year and now I’m looking forward to being part of this team. “
