Burnley are preparing to return to the league after just one season in the Premier League.
The Clarets were expected to return to good fortune at the best of times after winning the second departmental title. However, they never seemed able to descend and when innovations came, they proved too little, too late.

He will be ahead to make new additions at Turf Moor. Now, reports claim that one man on the radar is goalkeeper Vaclav Hladky.
The 33-year-old is unavailable for anything after leaving Ipswich Town and Czech media outlet iSport claims that Burnley have presented him with a two-year contract. However, a return to his home Czech Republic with Jablonec seems very likely, even if the club offers more favourable conditions.
Furthermore, Hladky would be interested in Slavia Prague, while he rejected Banik Ostrava.
It looks like there will be adjustments to Burnley’s goalkeeping ranks.
James Trafford has been strongly linked with a return to the Premier League despite his struggles last season. Newcastle United were said to be interested, but they have made other signings, so he is no longer one of the most sensible on their shopping list.
Arijanet Muric, however, seems set to return to the Premier League. He looks set to reposition Burnley target Hladky as the number one at Ipswich Town with a deal in position to take him to Portman Road.
That may also leave the Clarets without two goalkeepers. Hladky would be a smart start, but it looks like a return to the Czech Republic may be awaiting him.
As Burnley look to battle with Czech teams for Hladky, he may be a solid addition to Parker’s goalkeeping ranks. He is coming off a fantastic season with Ipswich Town, where he played a key role in their promotion after replacing Christian Walton in the team.
Walton has been sidelined by injury and many have asked him to return to his place.
However, Hladky’s form during his absence meant that he deserved to stay in the team, and that’s precisely what he did.
After such a strong campaign, going with another Championship promotion contender may please the 33-year-old. But by returning to his offer, Hladky will be sure to make this next decision carefully.
