The Giants claimed that receiver C.J. Board filed exemptions for the Jaguars, reports NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero.
The Jaguars resigned from the meeting on Wednesday.
Board joined the NFL as an undrafted assman in 2017 with the Ravens.
He spent time with the Titans and Browns until he held firm with the Jaguars, signing with his practice squad on December 10, 2018.
The board despite everything made the impression in an NFL regular-season game in 2019, achieving two receptions for 31 yards in 4 games. He saw action in 36 offensive shots and seven in special groups last season.
Board, 26, schooled in Tennessee-Chattanooga.
