Californian accused of trampling on his girlfriend’s son’s head and killing him

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – A California man is in bars after police say he trampled on his girlfriend’s 3-year-old son’s head and killed him.

According to KCAL-TV and Desert Sun, San Bernardino police arrested 24-year-old Santos Rodriguez of Desert Hot Springs with a homicide rate on Sunday, hours after the baby died in a hospital on Saturday.

In an article posted Sunday on Facebook, San Bernardino police said police began investigating death on Sunday after responding to the hospital, where doctors decided the child had suffered severe head trauma. Rodriguez, the child’s mother’s boyfriend, first of all. claimed the baby “fell off a Razor scooter and hit his head on the sidewalk,” the message said.
