EAST RUTHERFORD, N. J. – At least part of Joe Judge’s debut as head coach had the characteristics of a better start to a new bankruptcy in New York Giants football.
But the other side had too many things that affected previous Big Blue regimes, and in the end, the Giants dropped a foiled offer in a 26-16 imaginable loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers Monday night at MetLife Stadium.
The Steelers (1-0) came in as favorites, noticed at least as contenders for the playoffs and potential Super Bowl contenders with a return from Ben Roethlisberger and a dominant defensive front led by stars TJ Watt and Bud Dupree.
Watt and Dupree were as advertised.
The Giants (0-1) entered after wasting the maximum nfl games in the more than 3 years, leading to a couple of layoffs of leaders, so overall, this result was anticipated.
But the Giants had their chances. They were dissex, as Judge promised, but too careless, and that’s what they’ll get when the basics drop them in all areas.
The Giants had a 10-9 lead in the first half when Roethlisberger and the Steelers changed the game in their favor by running 78 yards for a crushing landing with only seven seconds by the end of part time.
The Giants endured defensively for much of the first half until final practice with Leonard Williams and Lorenzo Carter playing well at all times.
An obvious story for the Giants was the fact that Saquon Barkley couldn’t do anything on the field, and most of that wasn’t his fault. He was hit on the batting line eight times in 15 attempts, completing with only six yards on the field. floor for the game.

The Giants might not win many games that way, and before next Sunday’s game in Chicago, they will have to solve this unforeseen problem.
The veteran take right onto Cam Fleming struggled when Watt caused all sorts of trouble, allowing the Giants to guess which approaching runner was blocking on that side.
Daniel Jones (26 for 41, 278 yards, two landing passes, two interceptions) notable at times, added a 41-yard landing pass to Darius Slayton that gave the Giants a quick lead, but threw a couple of interceptions, one at Watt that the Steelers then turned into a landing and another in the red zone that put a pin on the Giants ball.
Slayton with six receptions for 102 yards with two touchdowns for the Giants in a lost effort.
So many things for Jones in the Giants’ first practice in the part at the moment as well.
Then, in one piece, with very choice, everything exploded for the Giants.
The Giants were walking and in the red zone when Jones, with Dupree forcing him to back down, threw one towards the line of purpose. The pass attempt floated and intercepted through defensive lineman Cameron Heyward in the finish line.
Just an overwhelming piece and possibly it would have been a grinder of souls for the giants.
