Carlo Ancelotti takes stock of Everton against Liverpool

The Premier League returns next Saturday.

The peak-anticipated crash of the weekend pits Liverpool against Everton.

In addition to watching the clash of two bitter rivals, this Merseyside derby is also of greater importance due to Everton’s current position in the league.

The Toffees have had a very good start to the season and lately are well ahead of the English elite after picking up the top numbers in their first four outings.

And while it’s too early to qualify for Carlo Ancelotti’s team nominees, securing a win over last season’s champions would silence some of the Blues’ skeptics.

Before Saturday’s draw, Carlo Ancelotti an update of the team on his team.

And, for the most part, the update is from Everton’s point of view.

Ancelotti has shown that all Andre Gomes, Allan and Seamus Coleman, unless there are last-minute draws, will be there to face Liverpool.

The Italian then presented encouraging updates on Mason Holgate, Jean-Philippe Gbamin and Jarrad Branthwaite, all of whom will be making progress in their respective recoveries:

“Andre Gomes is available for Saturday, no problem.

“Allan started education with the team this week. If nothing happens in the coming days, he will have to play against Liverpool.

“I think Seamus is going to be smart too because he’ll be educated with us on Monday.

“Paintings of Holgate and Branthwaite individually. Branthwaite is [on return].

“They don’t have [with their recovery programs] but we have to wait a bit.

“Gbamin works individually, he’s not here yet [at USM Finch Farm].

“I think he’ll be here in 15 days and start running from the team at the beginning and then with the team.

“At the end of November, I think it may have compatibility to play. “

| Seamus Coleman, Allan and André Gomes are expected to be present at Saturday’s derby in Merseyside. Mina will have to be evaluated on her return from outer service.
