Tottenham has reached a match with Benfica to transfer to Brazilian striker Carlos Vinicius.
The deal, presented through the Portuguese club on Thursday, includes a loan payment of 2. 7 million pounds with the purchase of an additional 38. 2 million pounds.
Vinicius, who joined Benfica from Naples for 15 million pounds last summer and is known as a capable replacement for Spurs striker Harry Kane for his medical examination on Friday.
The 25-year-old scored 24 goals last season and has been connected to several of Europe’s biggest clubs: Juventus and Inter Milan.
Jose Mourinho asked about the deal following Tottenham’s victory over Maccabi Haifa in the Europa League standings, but said, “No, I need you to ask me this question when it’s confirmed.

“No one told me I had done it, so I will respect the situation, respect the player, respect Benfica and wait a little longer. Next time we meet, maybe I can answer. “
Vinicius made two appearances this season, in the Champions League defeat to PAOK and the previous 5-1 victory over Famalicao in September.
Mourinho said Wednesday that he was sure to point to a striker before the end of the move-in deadline on October 5.
“I’m optimistic, but more than that, the feeling I love is that we’re everything to do it,” he said.
“You’re successful or unsuccessful. It’s like a football game: you win or you don’t win but you give everything and you check everything. The movement market is the same. “
“I like the feeling that my club is looking to do everything for us and for the team, that’s the best thing for me.
“If we make it, much better, I think so, but if we don’t make it, it’s football. “
Mourinho added that newcomers this week would face Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday.
Summer merchandise closes at 23:00 a. m. on Monday, five October, with a lively party featuring football’s biggest names.
