CAS: Champions League sanction verdict to Manchester City arrives Monday

Manchester City’s fate in European long-term competitions will be after this weekend. The Court of Arbitration for Sport (TAS) announced on Friday that the decision on the club’s appeal against a two-year ban on UEFA competitions will be officially approved on Monday.

The appeal came in reaction after UEFA banned the club from participating in European competitions for two years and fined City 30 million euros ($34 million) for allegedly concealing fair-play monetary violations in overvalued sponsorship revenue from 2012 to 2015.
