Martin Luther King Jr.’s “Spirit of Peace” birthday party will be held Monday, January 20, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the central level of Kukui Grove.

This year’s birthday party will feature Tod Walker, a performer who sings peace and evolution towards freedom in our time, Hawaiian dance artist Mauliola Cook, Pastor Don Wills, the Palmeiras with Hawaiian music, January Martinez providing lyrics and the Ineebz, a hip-reggae. shop and dancehall group.
Na Kamalei school students will perform, Okinawa drum organization “Ryukyukoku Matsuri Daiko” and the offices of the governor and mayors will make presentations.
Tod Walker, DJ and director of teen programs at KKCR Community Radio, will be the master of ceremonies.
