Celtic legend K. C. Jones dies at 88; Hall of Fame has 12 NBA championships

The legend of the Boston Celtics and a member of the Basketball Hall of Fame, K. C. Jones, he died Friday at the age of 88.

Tim Bontemps of ESPN reported the news.

Jones, a schoolmate with Bill Russell at the University of San Francisco, won eight NBA championships as a player and won 12 NBA championships in total, adding his training career.

Jones’ daughter, Bryna, announced that K. C died at 4:55 a. m. Friday and thanked him for sending his love.
