Celtic have unveiled their new partnership with Adidas, the new Origins shirt, which pays homage to the club’s Irish roots.
Last night, the club released an official teaser on social media Platshape X indicating that there would be some sort of announcement at 8am with the tagline “Celebrating our Irish origins. . . “, generating many hypotheses among fans.

Fast forward to this morning and Celtic have launched the 2023/24 edition of Origins following the popularity of last season’s 135th anniversary shirt, which is on sale now [Celtic FC].
The club’s official statement read: “As a club known for its proud Irish heritage, Celtic FC is very pleased to unveil our new Adidas Irish Origins 2023/24 collection.
“This new expanded collection with the logo follows the phenomenal reaction to last year’s 135th anniversary Origins kit, allowing enthusiasts in Scotland, Ireland and beyond to celebrate our connections, beyond and present, to the Emerald Isle.
“Irish identity has been deeply rooted in Celtic Football Club since brother Walfrid, himself an Irishman, founded the club in 1887.
“Thousands of people have sailed across the Irish Sea to the Bhoys over the years.
“Their fans and those of the proud Irish players who have put on the hoops for Celtic, along with the managers and coaches who have been enshrined in the club’s illustrious history, ensure that our links with Celtic are celebrated around the world, then and always!
As you can see below, the Bhoys have opted for a pinstripe design on the blouse with the added option of acquiring a variety of hoodies, sports shirts, polo tops, and educational pants that are part of our newest collection.

The limited-edition Origins T-shirt, which can be purchased for £55, features several notable elements, the Irish tricolour on the back of the blouse to accompany the embellishments around the arms and neck.
